PHARMACEUTICAL - Basic Automated System - Thin Products
Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical products are unique in that most are ingested, injected or otherwise taken into the body. While viscosity can vary greatly, the important factor is to keep the packaging process sanitary while preparing the product. So while the packaging equipment will vary from project to project in the industry, all of the equipment will be manufactured as sanitary machinery. For thin Pharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals, a typical automated packaging system may consist of:
- Loading Turntable
- Power Conveyors
- Automatic Rinsing Machine
- Automatic Gravity Filler
- Automatic Chuck Capper
- Labeling Machine - Wrap*
- Accumulating Turntable
Each project that includes a Pharmaceutical or Nutraceutical product will be analyzed to find the ideal solution on a case-by-case basis. The typical system described above may be added to or modified to reach that solution.
